Installation in just four easy steps
Plug the 12V, 2A power adapter into the socket, and then connect your old IDE hard drive to the designated 2.5'' or 3.5'' IDE connector.
Connect your new hard drive to the SATA connector. It doesn't matter whether it's a hard disk drive (HDD) or a solid-state drive (SSD). The only important thing is that it has a 2.5'' or 3.5'' connector.
Connect the adapter to your computer. Your computer will recognize the converter box like any other USB device
After connecting the USB 3.0 converter box to your computer, set the ON/OFF switch to ON. Transfer your files.
